Country’s premier business school XLRI – Xavier School of Management in Jamshedpur has created a world record in hand washing relay with 991 participants, a statement has said.

The Guinness World Records has officially confirmed it, the institute said.
The relay was part of ‘Banega Swachh India’ campaign conducted by the Marketing Association of XLRI (MAXI) with leading hygiene product brand Dettol at the 36th MAXI Fair held at the institute’s campus here in January.

The attempt lasted for nearly four-and-half hours.
The XLRI has beaten a record formerly created in Sri Lanka by 650 participants, the Guinness World Records authorities said.
