Jharkhand Chief minister Raghubar Das has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking his nod for building a bridge on the Ganga between Santhal Pargana and Sahibganj in Bihar.
Das, in his letter, has claimed that the bridge will make crossing Ganga easier for people in areas like Purnia, Katihar and Manihari Ghat.
The proposed bridge will help in uplifting the condition of the villagers of Santhal Pargana, the letter added.
