289 candidates and 17 seats.These will figure in the third phase of Jharkhand Assembly poll on Tuesday.
As per the schedule fixed by the Election Commission,the polling will end at 3 pm in 14 constituencies,the same will end at 5 PM at Ranchi,Hatia and Kanke constituencies.
During the past two phases on November 25 and December 2,the polling was held for 33 constituencies.In the third round,eight MLAs,103 Independent candidates and a former Chief Minister was in the fray.
The ex CM was Babulal Marandi.Among the prominent MLAs is BJP’s CP Singh who is trying to win Ranchi seat for the fourth consequitive term.
The constituencies where polls will be held tomorrow are : Kodarma, Barkatha, Barhi, Barkagaon, Ramgarh, Mandu, Hazaribagh, Simaria (SC), Dhanwar, Gomia, Bermo, Ichagarh, Silli, Khijri (ST), Ranchi, Hatia and Kanke (SC).
