
Heavy rains have been forecasted at several places in Jamshedpur in the next couple of days. The regional meteorological department bulletin along with Agricultural research centre on Friday
warned of incessant heavy rains for the next five days. The city recorded 11.4 mm of rain on Friday. The maximum temperature was recorded at 33.6
degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled at 25.7 degrees Celsius in the city on Friday. According to the meteorological department 193 mm of rainfall is expected to be received in the
next five days. If the forecast proves to be correct, then it will increase the risk of flooding in several areas of the city. Officials have been asked to be extra vigilant.
