For the first time,Jharkhand witnessed an election campaign carried by a chopper today.
In the past, chopper was used by leaders to fly from one place to another to address an election rally.But the Congress party used the chopper to distribute the party candidate’s pamphlets in Silli in Ranchi district.Each pamphlet carried the party’s appeal to vote for its candidate.
Though hundreds of Congress party’s pamphlets were thrown from a chopper flying in the sky in Silli,not all of them were picked up by electorates.”Many pamphlets fell in forest and trees”, said Sudama Mahato,a resident of Silli.
