The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) said on Thursday that after the commission’s drive, the Delhi Police had enrolled a zero FIR against Maharashtra MLA Abu Azmi for influencing sexist remarks to last year.The matter will now be sent to the Maharashtra Police, the DCW included. “Gratefully after just about a year, a FIR has been enrolled against Mr. Azmi for his stunning sexist explanations. It’s pitiful that the Mumbai Police deferred the issue and neglected to document a FIR,” said DCW boss Swati Maliwal.
