
The Rural Development Department in Jharkhand is slated to hold a workshop on convergence between two flagship rural development schemes-Mahatama Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act and National Rural Livelihood Mission in Ranchi.
The two day workshop is scheduled to take place at Holi Day Home on August 7-8.It is going to be participated by Government of India’s Additional Secretary Amarjit Sinha and its two Joint Secretaries R Subramaniu and Aparjita Sadangi.
The workpshop,attended among others by the state government officials of the Forest,Rural Development,Agriculture and Animal Husbandry and the UNICEF,is going to be inaugurated by Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Neelkanth Singh Munda.
The workshop plans to launch campaign-Make Schemes under MNREGA during 2016-17.
