By using journalism,different skill development schemes of the State and the Centre can be promoted,observed Jharkhand Public Relation Department Director AK Pandey.
Pandey opined that journalism has performed a positive role in development of the country.He was speaking on the ‘Role of Media in Skill Development’ on second day of the World Youths Skill Day at the Community Centre in Ranchi today.
Talking about the proposal to boost up works connected with a proposal on writing and research,Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Director RP Singh said,he was ready to back any new experiment.
The meeting was addressed among others by Central University faculty Rupa Kumari,Ranchi Doordarshan’s Govind Kumar Jha and Jharkhand Panchayat Women Resource Centre’s Coordinator Rajiv Bhardawaj.On this occasion,a workshop on National Skill Quality Framework was also held.
To promote schemes of skill development,awareness campaign for skill training was launched at Brambay panchayat on July 16.An identical programme is slated to be held at Khunti Bazar on July 17,Ormanjhi on July 18 and Bundu on July 20.
