Women’s education necessary for development,says CM

DSC_4587“Women are the main part of culture and social tradition.In the development of the State,women have played important role.They will have to launch movement in society for education and only then,the society will grow and develop”,said Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das while addressing a gathering of women today at Golchakar maidan in Dhurva,Ranchi.

The women had gathered in large number to observe ‘International Women Day’.Das said the women have to be literate and educated for the growth and development of the society.

“The State will develop if women are educated.The women are not lagging behind in any field and they were playing significant role in every walk of life.In the administration,the state government has sought to encourage women.Today,there were two women Ministers who were given education and social welfare portfolios”,said Das

Das said that despite all these,55 percent women were illiterate and suffered from malnutrition and witch craft in Jharkhand.The scene will change only when women are educated and are independent,economically,said Das.
