In an encounter between the security forces and the Maoists,there was a twin causality in Latehar today.Two Maoists were dead and two other Maoists suffered injury,said the police.
More,a woman Maoist was arrested and admitted to a hospital.
“We have recovered two bodies from the spot “,said Latehar SP Ajay Linda adding that in the ‘encounter’several other Maoists who got injured managed to escape.The encounter lasted for two hours during 2 am-4am on Saturday morning inside the jungle area.
Notably,the encounter took place a week after three members of a reputed land lord family were killed on March 21 by the CPI(Maoists in the neighbouring Lohardaga district.
