MGNREGA Commissioner B. Nijlingappa today surveyed the Brambe panchayat of the Karanjtoli village during the second day of the training program under the Life Project of MGNREGA. The trainees were divided in to 5 teams during the survey.
The MGNREGA commissioner visited the Brambe panchayat bhavan and listened to the problems of the workers and made an appeal for the success of the Life Project.
The training under the Life Project under MGNREGA is being undertaken in 7 districts in the state. Through this program, the commissioners are being informed about the type of training to impart to the workers who have completed their 100 days of employment. The will be trained in the businesses they are interested in after the completion of the survey.
The training program for the officials for the rest of the districts will take place on July 6 and 7.
