The Jharkhand Bijli Vitaran Nigam has taken an initiative to provide its customers the facility of payment of electricity bills in post offices of Ranchi.
The JBVN has signed a memorandum of understanding with CSE according to which the facility would be available to consumers in the next 20 days.This would prove to be a major relief to electricity consumers
The power consumers would also be able to file their complaints online and ask any query.
The JBVN has also initiated the rural franchise scheme to improve power supply in eight districts of the state.
