In an act of courage, three school girls jumped from a running bus to escape from ‘eve-teasers’ in Sakchi area of Jamshedpur today, leaving one injured.
The police said the three girls boarded the bus at Sakchi to go home when the men started teasing them.
The girls complained to the bus driver and the conductor and asked them to stop the bus, but their plea were ignored, said the police.
The girls then jumped from the running bus and one of them got injured, added the police.
According to police, local people admitted the injured girl to MGM Hospital.
Two of the teasers and the driver were later arrested and the bus was seized.
