Apart from producing and selling top class four wheelers,Tata Motors has gained spotlight for promoting life saving exercise-blood donation.
This Jamshedpur based company was given best award for holding maximum number of blood camps in a year.The award was presented to its representative R.Raju by Jharkhand State Cricket Association president Amitabh Coudhary.
The award giving function was organized by Jharkhand State AIDS Control Society at its SDC premise in Purulia road,Ranchi on Tuesday.
By organizing 24 camps,Tata Motors had collected 663 units of blood last year-2012-13.Many prominent functionaries including Yogoda Satsang Ashram’s Swami Shradhanandji,Society’s Director Abu Bakr Siddiqui,Inderjeet Singh,Father Ajit Xhes and Guru Singh Sabha’s president Gurmit Singh were present on the occasion.
