Jharkhand DGP Rajiv Kumar today appealed to the Naxalites who had lost the mainstream to surrender and gain benefit from Jharkhand’s surrender policy if they are keen to lead and live honourable life.
Kumar was addressing the media at the police office in Hazaribagh today.He was accompanied by senior police officers such as IG,DIG and Principal,Police Training Institute,Hazaribagh.
The DGP’s move comes a day after three Maoists were killed by the police in an encounter in Chiraiyatanr forest under Choparan police station in Hazaribagh district on January 12.Kumar awarded the police personnel who took part in the encounter.
