People of Vizag are close to my heart, says the actor
After the romantic-thriller movie Gentleman, Nani and Niveda Thomas have paired up again for another romantic movie Ninnu Kori.
With 50% of the film having already been shot in San Francisco, the remaining part of it is being shot in the city.
Nani appears to be more than excited to combine leisure and work.
“I always look forward to visiting Vizag as my in-laws stay here. Moreover, people here make me feel special and are close to my heart,” says Nani, who was here to wrap up the shooting for his next movie.
Talking to The Hindu, he says his onscreen chemistry with Niveda Thomas has worked well for Gentleman and that he is now confident that Ninnu Kori, which is likely to hit the theatres in June, will also work wonders.
When the actor is not shooting, he is busy campaigning for a cause in the city.
“I feel glad to be part of the campaigns that focus on promoting health and sports. I believe in the theory of staying fit as it ultimately helps you deliver better,” says Nani, who prefers home-cooked food.
Being a romantic person himself, Nani says he fits effortlessly into romantic roles that come his way. With more than a dozen successful movies to his credit in just a span of nine years, he says success sets a new standard for him.
“The expectation for the next film will go up and the responsibility to deliver better as an actor also doubles,” he reasons.
Next film MCA
Nani is happy with the upward trajectory of his career graph. Nani’s future projects also include MCA with Dil Raju.
“The movie is certainly not about an MCA student but a ‘middle class abbayi’ with all the commercial components sewn seamlessly into the narrative,” the actor clarifies before signing off.
