Demand draft of ₹51,000 handed over to the Diwan

A ‘chaadar’/‘ghilaf’ was offered at Khaja Moinuddin Chisthi Ajmer Shareef in Rajasthan on behalf of the Telangana Government and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao by a delegation from the State Government in the early hours of Tuesday.

According to officials, the offering was made on the occasion of Urs-e-Shareef. A demand draft for ₹.51,000 as ‘’nazrana’ was handed over to the Diwan of Ajmer Dargah.

The offering was made to fulfil the vow of the Chief Minister following the achievement of statehood to Telangana in 2014.

The Diwan complimented the efforts of the Telangana Government for welfare of all sections and conducted special ‘dua’ for well being of Telangana and the Chief Minister.

Secretary (Minorities Welfare) Syed Omer Jaleel, Deputy Mayor of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Baba Fasiuddin, Chairman of Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation Akbar Hussain, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Telangana State Wakf Board Mannan Farooqui accompanied the Telangana team.
