In an attempt to improve their image the Jharkhand Police has adopted a new idea to deploy ‘smart lady’ constables to welcome people who come to meet the Director General of Police for sharing their problems and other issues.
Earlier there was no such arrangement in place as a result people were left on their own to find a way to seek an appointment with the top brass of the force at the Police Headquarters.
