Chief Minister Raghubar Das today addressed the DCs of all the districts in a “Sidhi Baat Programme” at the Conference Hall at Suchna Bhavan in Ranchi today. He was thankful to the departmental and district level officers for speeding up the process to solving the complaints received at the Jan Samvad Kendra.
Das directed the departmental officers to inspect the rural areas of Dumka, Pakur & Sahebganj districts of Santhal Praganas because a lot of complaints are being reported against PDS (Public Distribution System) in these areas and the black-market is widespread. He said that during the last 14 years, Santhal Praganas has been robbed off by the nexus of officials, contractors and leaders. This part is often over looked, and Das has put the agenda of development of the land of martyrs in his priority list.
Of the 26 complaints were reported in the “Sidhi Baat Programme”, 25 were sorted out. During the process, Das talked directly to the Deputy Commissioners of Deoghar, Dumka, East Singhbhum, Giridih , Hazaribag , Palamu, Sahebganj, Pakur, Simdega, Saraikela Kharsawan , Latehar, Chatra and Ranchi in connection to the complaints from the people .
During the “Sidhi Baat Programme” Das announced a discretionary grant of Rs.10,000 to the handicapped Arvind Kumar to pursue his education . Kumar stood 3rd in the district with 87.4% marks in 10th Board Examination, 2013.
The Principal Secretary to Das , Sanjay Kumar said that 50 thousand 456 calls were made to the “Jan Samvad Kendra” during the last 2 months out of which 7 thousand 144 complaints were registered. In addition, 5 thousand and 851 complaints were registered through the toll free number 181.
