Security has been stepped up to ensure peaceful celebrations of Rath Yatra mela and Eid that is expected to be on July 18.
The police held a meeting with representatives of the peace committee along with locals today.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Radha Prem Kishore said that the meeting was successful. People from both the religious background shared important information about the celebrations, added Kishore.
He said that all these information would help in maintaining peace during the celebrations.
