The Tribal Culture Society in Sonari has taken an initiative to bring the tribal community of different regions on one platform to perform their traditional dance together.
The organizers said that normally tribal dances of different communities could be seen in separate events, but now a platform is being setup where Santhal, Munda and Oraon tribes will perform together.
The event called Jharkhand colours will see boys and girls from different tribal communities will performing a collaborative dance.
This forum will act as a medium to spread and popularize the rare dances of Jharkhand, which includes area and race-specific dances, said the organizers.
