In a notice issued by the state personnel department,a modification was introduced in the appointment of the IAS officer Prashant Kumar as Chief Executive Officer,Ranchi Municipal Corporation(RMC).
Kumar was appointed as CEO of the RMC on February 11,2015.
As per the modification,signed by Governor Syed Ahmed,Kumar,2004 batch IAS officer of the Jharkhand cadre,was appointed as Nagar Aayukt(Town Commissioner) of the Ranchi Municipal Corporation.Kumar is the first City Commissioner of the RMC
