Frequent power cuts, soaring temperature and scorching heat has made life tough this summer for residents of Dhanbad.
They have to face long power cuts as rotational load-shedding was being done by the electricity department not only during the daytime but also at night.
According to the Jharkhand Energy Development Corporation sources the load-shedding was being done to avoid increased load on the electric wires and to prevent melting due to heat.
However, the Corporation has assured to provide sufficient power supply amidst crisis.
