Ranchi Nagar Nigam to open parks to public

Rnachi Nagar Nigam has decided to open its park to the general public. Earlier the Nigam had undertaken the task of beautification of its park in the state capital, but they remained closed for the public.

The Nigam CEO has now instructed officers to update records of all city parks. In the first phase, the Nigam park near the Chief Minister’s residence will be opened to the public after its beautification. Subsequently the Nigam parks in Harmu and Seva Sadan road would be opened to the public.

According to Nigam sources, decision has also been taken to equip the parks with playing facilities for children and have adequate lighting arrangements so that visitors do not have problem staying back after sunset.
