Y.H Ramesh is successor of late Amarjeet Balihar as Superintendent of Police,Pakur.
Balihar was among five cops who were gunned down by the Maoists in Pakur on Tuesday.This morning the bodies of the deceased cops including Balihar were brought to Ranchi and guard of honour was given inside Jharkhand Military Police-I.Top brass of the state government including Governor Syed Ahmed were present on the occasion.
Last night the state government transferred Ramesh from Chatra to Pakur.Ramesh,an IPS officer of 2010 batch,was posted at Tandwa in Chatra district as Sub Divisional Police Officer.
Asked what will be his top priority as SP Pakur,Ramesh said:”We will try to enforce law,work to maintain law and order and bring all those who had killed Balihar to justice.”
