Weather may be to blame for a partial hillside collapse in Palamu.
The incident took place Saturday-Sunday night at Tatbe village under Chainpur block in Palamu where a part of the hill collapsed.
‘Part of the hillside came tumbling down on the earth surface though there was no casualty’,said a report.
Due to heavy rains,the bridges had collapsed along Palamau-Garhwa and Palalamu-Ranchi highways causing traffic problem,said Palamau Deputy Commissioner K.Shrivashan
“All of the rain we’ve been getting likely helped bring down the traffic.We are trying to restore the traffic along Palamau-Garhwa and Palalamu-Ranchi highways”,said Shrivashan.
Thankfully no one was on the road at the time and no one was injured,DC said.
