Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today set the ball rolling for setting up a new State Capital. He instructed senior officials to prepare the blue print so that the construction work could be started at the earliest.
He visited the proposed site for the new Capital and said considering the pressure of the growing population of Ranchi coupled with traffic congestion and the problem of civic amenities, it has become imperative to shift the State Capital.
He told the officials to keep in mind the feasibility of providing all facilities required in the new set up. Officials were also directed to maintain the national and international standards while building the new Capital.
