With the first absolute majority government, Das has embarked upon work in the direction of setting up a new capital, but much needs to be done in the field of basic infrastructure like roads, health and employment.
The state government has also taken initiative to curb corruption by strengthening vigilance department.
The government has also given its nod for the recruitment of teachers and lifted the ban on main exam of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission. Along with this the government is also inclined towards reviving Harmu river.
However, the vacant post in the state cabinet yet remains to be fulfilled and work on many development projects has not yet started.
