Jharkhand is gearing up to build Smart Village in this new financial year-2015-16.
The work related with the creation and building this Samart Village will start soon,indicated the decision taken in the meeting held today.The meeting was attended among others by Principal Secretarty NN Sinha,Commissioner(MNREGA)Vijay Kumar Singh and Special Secretary B.Nizalingappa.
In the past,this project was known as Mukkhya Mantri Smart Village.Now,as per the decision taken by these officers today,it will be known as Smart Village.The state government has sanctioned Rs five crore for this project.
The Smart village will be constructed in village dominated by the Schedule Tribe,the Schedule Caste and the General caste as well.Though the guidelines for creation of each Smart Village were being made by the Department,it will be developed along its culture,economy and society.
In this meeting presided by Principal Secretary NN Sinha,it was also decided to collect details of the same project implimentation in two states-Gujarat and Telangana.Even the state government officials were asked to submit their view points soon.
In another meeting of the rural development department,attended among others by Commissioner(MNREGA) Vijay Kumar Singh and Additional PCCF Ashok Kumar Pandey,it was decided to link villagers with jobs via plantation of trees.
