Police recovered ‘Horces’ from Maoists in Jharkhand were Hinnies

“They were not horces.The recovered animals were Hinnies”,said a Zoologist Kamlesh Singh.Infact,a Hinny resembles a horce more than an Ass.It looks more like a Horce with long ears.

The Hinny is also called a Mule,but is crossed between a Male Horce(Stallion) and a female Donkey.

The police records say that the Maoists had left behind 15 ‘horses’ and a big haul of explosives before retreating after an encounter with the jawans of the CoBRA on the borders of Latehar and Gumla districts in the wee hours on Friday.

Nearlly,a dozen pressure bombs, 450 detonators, 50 IEDs, 50 grenades,12 ‘black’ detonators,four motor cycles, six walkie-talkie,13 mobile handsets, a radio, uniform and several other articles were recovered from the spot.

Information gathered by www.indiancitynews.com today revealed that Maoists used these animals to carry arms and ammunitions in the forest and hilly areas.
