PM Narendra lays stones of IARI in Hazaribagh,tells farmers to conserve water

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid foundation stone of the top agriculture institution-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand.

Soon after laying its foundation,he addressed a gathering at the venue,and stressed on the need for research in the agriculture sector.The PM pointed out that India is ‘desperate’ for a second green revolution.

The PM talked about the need of research in the agriculture sector and said that any such revolution cannot take place only at one place. He stated that a revolution in agriculture can take place in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Assam.

Modi told the farmers of the country to conserves water and use it for farming in a constructive way. He also talked about examining soil for better productivity.
