BJP leader and Jharkhand Urban Development Minister CP Singh is in trouble with the opposition leaders demanding his resignation on charge of acquiring land from the state government body by hiding facts of his property.
As a result,the Jharkhand Assembly was adjourned till Tuesday as a united opposition protested and demanded his resignation.So much so that they did not allow functioning of the Assembly on Monday.
The Opposition parties and their legislatures also pressed for other demands, including calling upon the government to fulfil the demands of the striking para-teachers.
Despite the pandemonium, State Parliamentary Affairs Minister Saryu Rai also tabled the first supplementary budget for the year2015-16 worth Rs 5,452 crore.
