Chief Minister Raghuvar Das today said in Jamshedpur that he would provide one lakh jobs to the people of the state in the next six months.
He was in the steel city to take part in functions organised by the party workers of his home constituency as well as others.
The process for recruiting 10,000 policemen is underway while 34,000 teachers will be appointed by March, the Chief Minister said.
“In fact, I have targeted to provide one lakh employment in next six months time”, added Das. He further said that the development of the state is not possible without developing infrastructure.
He also said that the state government plans to develop Ranchi into an IT hub like the automobile hub in Kolhan region comprising East and West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharswan districts.
