Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today directed Deputy Commissioner of Khunti district to take appropriate steps to turn Takro village under Siladon Panchayat as ‘ideal village’.
On June 6,during an interaction with the residents of Taro under ‘Jan Samwad(Public discussion) had announced to adopt it as ideal village.Incidentally,Taro is the birth place of Jharkhand’s tribal hero-Jai Pal Singh Munda.
Toward the same end,state government officials led by Khunti DC visited Taro village and took stock of the situation there.
Reports reaching Ranchi said that Khunti DC asked the officials to put up Jai Pal Singh Munda’s statue and gathered information connected with drinking water,electricity,education,health,road and other services available there from its residents.
