NTPC’s Deputy General Manager Rakesh Nandan Sahay,who was allegedly manhandled by one IAS officer, is yet to get justice.
Though the police have filed chargesheet against two junior sta,accusing each one of them for thrashing him,the IAS officer Sunil Kumar,who was allegedly responsible for his manhandling,remains beyond the reach of the strong arm of the law.Result?
Sahay has moved the court of Ranchi based Chief Judicial Magistrate by lodging a complaint petition alleging that the police despite having evidence against him had saved Kumar who had manhandled him as part of his conspiracy.
“This was evident from the fact that this IAS officer had collected call details of his telephone.But the police not only ignored these facts,but filed the chargesheet against a constable and an orderly just to save Kumar”,alleged Sahay’s complaint petition.
