On the auspicious first Monday of the Shravan month today,the ancient tradition depicting love of the brotherhood-Rakhsha Vandan-began at the Ranchi based Prajapati Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidalya.
Though the festival -Raksha Vandan is on August 29,Vishwavidalya’s Brahmakumari Nirmala Bahan marked its begining by tying Rakhi on the hand of Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu in memory of late Guru Shiv Bhole Bhandari.
