The special train service from Santragachi to Ahmedabad has begun on trial basis. This service is expected to be regularised only after observing the response of the passengers.
The 15-coach train will stop at 25 stations. It will have one first and second AC coach each and 6 coaches of Third AC.
The train will be useful for the Tatanagar residents as many of the people are from Gujarat. Only two trains operate from Tatanagar where there is a long waiting list of passengers.
