All is set for the construction of the new building for the Jharkhand High Court in the proposed greater Ranchi area. The State Government has given its consent and the construction work will begin soon.
The Building Construction Department has floated the tender for the project worth Rs. 272.51 crore. The department has decided to clear the tender for the construction of the court building by 31 March and the work will start in the next financial year i.e. April.
It may be recalled that the construction work for the new building was put on the fast track only after the High Court took a tough stand on the issue.
