The Jharkhand Government has decided to seize all such properties and wealth of Naxalites and other ultra groups which have been forcibly acquired or amassed through unlawful means.
The State officials on the directive of the government have started the process of formulating new rules which will authorize the police to seize Maoists’ illegal properties acquired under duress from the public.
The State Government has come to know that active ultra groups have raised wealth by imposing levy in the real estate and transport business.
After finding out the details of such properties, the government would seize them as per the new law.
