Naxal violence cases decline by 37.64 percent in Jharkhand

CMs meetingAll round development process has been set in motion in Jharkhand,claimed Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das during the BJP ruled states’ CMs meeting at Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi.

The meeting took place on Saturday when the CM Das claimed that though the state has been lacking infrastructure-road,electricity,irrigation and so on -and its records in education,health and drinking water have shown it below the national average,it has followed Niti Yayog recommendations to prepare ‘vision’ plan and act on it.

“Information Technology was being used effectively to provide accountable governance”,said the CM adding that the state government had set up Tribal Development Council in every district.

The CM claimed that Naxal violence was effectively contained as there was a sharp decline of 14.89 percent of Left Wing Extremist Violence cases in 2015 in comparison to the same period in 2014.

Even during June 6,2015-June 6,2016,the number of Naxal violence cases had gone down by 37.84 percent.

The CM claimed that the results of works carried out by his government had attained positive results.He disclosed that his government is in process to set up Primitive Tribe Battalion.

As much as 35 kgs of food grains will be provided free of cost to all primitive tribe families.Toward this end,22 villages were identified,said the CM.

“Rs one lakh will be provided to every Self Help Group in these villages.Also Rs two lakh will be provided to each beneficiary registered and trained under self employment scheme”,added the CM.
