The nation today paid tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his 153 birth anniversary that is being observed as National Youth Day.
Paying tributes to Swamji, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said “I salute the venerable Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary”.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Congress president Sonia Gandhi, her deputy Rahul Gandhi and several dignitaries also paid homage to the Swami and greeted youths on the Youth Day.
