The Jharkhand Government has decided to set up Tourism Development Council to promote tourism in the State. The first meeting of this Council is scheduled to take place on 28 January.
Chief Minister Raghubar Das is understood to have given his consent earlier for the constitution of this Council.
The Jharkhand Tourism Development Council, which will consists of Secretaries of various state government departments, would prepare the ground for the development of tourism in the state.
