The Jharkhand High Court today granted bail to the mother of Ranjeet Kumar Kohli alias Rakibul Hassan in a case of exploitation filed by national-level shooter Tara Shahdeo after she walked out of the marriage last year.
The Court granted the bail of nearly 80-year-old Koushalaya on the ground of old age, ailment and not being linked directly in the case involving her son.
Mother and son were arrested in Delhi on August 26 last year.
Tara also accused them of deceit and torture. In their statement on August 26 last year, the police had said that Tara married Kohli with her consent on July 7 last year and that Kohli started believing Islam.
