When he went to the park for morning walk,Ramsakal Prasad was in cheers.But when his body came out of it,he was dead.
Prasad,a well-known real estate developer of Jamshedpur,was shot dead inside the famous Jubilee park,near its gate in Bistupur area in Jamshedpur today.
Jamshedpur Dy SP Jacinta Kerketta said the body of Prasad was rushed to Tata Main Hospital.But the TMG declared him dead.
Reports said Prasad along with a friend, had gone to the Park for morning walk.”Four assailants intercepted him near the Park gate and shot at him”,said Jacinta.The victim a resident of Bagbera, was a contractor engaged in construction sector in Odisha as well as Jamshedpurhere. He also owned a couple of buses.
Though the identity of the culprits was not known,they are reported to have escaped by two mo bikes after firing at him,said the police quoting an eye witness.His friend is reported to have remained unhurt.
No arrest was made in connection with this crime so far.
