Jharkhand today recorded the launch of ‘Mission Indradhanush’.
The Mission Indradhanush was launched on the occasion of the World Health Day at Institute of Public Health Convention Centre in Namkom,Ranchi.
The Mission Indradhanush,formulated by the Union Family and Welfare Ministry,intended to expand immunisation coverage in India to atleast 90 percent children in next five years.In Jharkhand,it is going to be implimented as per the same objective.
The inaugural function was attended among others by Jharkhand Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Minister Ramchandra Chandravanshi,UNICEF Jharkhand Chief Job Zachariah,Dirctor in Chief Dr. Sumant Mishra, Mission Director Ashish Singhma, DIC Food Dr. Praveen Chandra and Principal Secretary,Health,K Vidyasagar.
