Minister’s directive to file case against retail chain shop

The Food Inspector in Jamshedpur has been directed by Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Minister Saryu Rai to lodge a case against a shop of a retail chain for selling rotten mango and coloured vegetables at Mango area.

Reportedly the Minister went to the shop last night after receiving complaints from customers.

He said today that he was shocked to find stale mango, coloured vegetables at the shop of the retail chain in Mango.

The Minister immediately directed the Secretary of Health Department to probe and ordered the Food Inspector to lodge a case against the shop of the retail chain.
