Jharkhand Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba today directed the Agency responsible for constructing ‘Mega Food Park’ in Jharkhand to complete the construction work by July 31,2015.
While reviewing the works being done in Jharkhand in the field of food conservation,Gauba observed that there is plenty of opportunities in this field.He was addressing a meeting of SLEC.
He asked the concerned officials to prepare plans in such a way that the entrepreneurs were attracted to pick up schemes for food conservation in Jharkhand.
At peresent,24 projects on food conservation related with rice mill,wheat mill,milk productuion,snacks and backery were going on in Jharkhand,,he said.
Industry Secretary Heemani Pandey presented details of the Jharkhand Food Procurement Industry Policy.The meeting was attended among others by Development Commissioner RS Poddar,Principal Secretary(Finance)Amit Khare and Principal Secretary(Rural Development)NN Sinha.
