S.K.Mishra,Additional Secretary cum National Rural Health Mission Project Director,Government of India, today reviewed the works carried by NRHM in Jharkhand and observed that there is a massive difference between the health data of its urban and rural areas..
“This difference has to be minimised in Jharkhand.To do so,the need based plans will have to be chalked out and implemented”,said Mishra in the review meeting inside the NRHM’s Jharkhand unit office at Namkom in Ranchi.
‘If the state government needs any special assistance,it can directly approach his department at the Centre.The Government of India will do every thing possible to help and assist”,he said and advised the state health mission to create human resources in accordance with its requirements.
The meeting was addressed among others by Jharkhand Principal Secretary(Health) K.Vidyasagar.
