
The Maoist infested Chatra district has secured top position in Matric Examination results made public by Jharkhand Academic Council.
In Jharkhand,as many as 71.20 percent students passed in Matric examination.Compared to previous year,there has been decline of 4.10 percent in the pass percentage.Last year,the Matric pass percentage was 75.30 percent and 73.15 percent in 2013.
Among the district,Chatra secured the top pass percentage with its 82.72 percent.Second third were Hazaribagh and Ranchi with pass percentage of 82.14 percent and 77.70 percent respectively.
The topper in Matric was Vikas Mahakud,a student of Vidya Mandir school, Musabani,near Jamshedpur in East Singhbhum district.The rest nine toppers were from Netarhat Residential High School,Latehar.
The students were Ankit Kumar Bhagat,Gaurav Kumar,Amit Kumar,Samit Kumar Mahato,Aditya Baraik,Nitish Kumar,Renu Ravins,Deepak Kuymar Gupta,Sanjiv Murmu,Anand Kumar,Karan Chand Mahato,Rakesh Ranjan Mahato,Puja Agrawal and Abhisheikh Kumar.
