Inside the State Rural Development Department’s secretariat office in Ranchi,a review meeting was held today on works being done by the Cluster Facilitation Teams in Jharkhand.
The meeting presided by Principal Secretary(Rural Development) NN Sinha was attended among others by Special Secretary B.Nizlangappa,MNEGA Commissioner Paritosh Upadhaya and Special Executive Officer Anil Narain Singh.
In the meeting,Sinha made a number of directives.The prominent among them were as follows:
1.CFTs should expedite the work in their own areas.In case,there is any complaint,lodge it at the MNREGA unit.Mail can also be sent directly..The problem must be resolved on a priority basis and provide the feed back regularly..
2.Link MNREGA workers with Jan Dhan and other Insurance schemes so that maximum number of beneficiaries were there.
3.Inform how the PS had helped CSOs provide jobs.
4.Create place for CFTs at Punchayat Bhawan or other Community Halls.
5.Monitor regularly.
6.Several on going schemes were pending.If the need be,these schemes can be closed and pick up CFT schemes.
7.Those officers who made objections in granting works under MNREGA,clamp fine on them in accordance with the provisions of the MNREGA.
